Are you a young man looking for a fun way to boost your resume or earn volunteer hours? Do you enjoy showing off your fun, goofy side, or are you looking for a way to come out of your shell? Look no further!

The Mr. Vista Contest was founded in 2011, and proudly continues as a fun way for young men to be involved as role models in their community. Mr. Vista and his court have the opportunity to participate in community events and fun festivals throughout the year, and to add hundreds of hours of community service (and a fun and unique title!) to their resumes or college applications. The contest is held yearly, and rehearsals are held in the weeks before the contest date to help contestants prepare for the competition.

what are the requirements to be Mr. vista?

Any young man between 15-25 years old who lives, works, or attends school in the Vista area is eligible to compete for the title of Mr. Vista. The contest itself consists of a private conversation with each judge (think of it like a more casual job interview), and on stage events including sports or active wear of each contestant's choice, formal wear, an onstage question, and an optional talent competition. Contestants are individually scored on each event (besides the optional talent competition, which is not scored), and the highest overall score is crowned Mr. Vista! Contestants are encouraged to have fun and show their personality to the judges, and enjoy being cheered on by friends and family in the crowd!
